Mookie Betts, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Michael Grove and Bobby Miller, Dodgers

Betts suffered a fractured left hand after he was hit by a 97.9 mph fastball in Sunday's game, according to manager Dave Roberts. Roberts said Monday that Betts will not need surgery but will be sidelined for at least six to eight weeks. More >

After leaving Saturday's start early, Yamamoto was placed on the 15-day injured list on Sunday with right triceps tightness. Roberts later said that Yamamoto was diagnosed with a strained rotator cuff in his right shoulder. More >

Grove (right intercostal strain) was also placed on the 15-day IL on Sunday.

Miller (right shoulder inflammation) will return to the Dodgers' rotation for their upcoming series against the Rockies at Coors Field. Miller made his fourth rehab start on Thursday with Triple-A Oklahoma City, allowing five runs over 4 2/3 innings. More >

Gerrit Cole, Anthony Rizzo and Jasson Domínguez, Yankees

Cole (right elbow discomfort) will return from the injured list and make his season debut Wednesday against the Orioles, according to manager Aaron Boone. More >

Rizzo injured his right hand and wrist after a seventh-inning collision during New York’s 9-3 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday evening at Fenway Park. According to a report from The Athletic on Monday, Rizzo is expected to miss four to six weeks with an arm fracture. The Yankees have not confirmed the news. More >

Domínguez has returned to the injured list after feeling a tweak near his left oblique on a checked swing while playing for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday. More >

Corbin Carroll, D-backs

Carroll felt some discomfort in his left side while making a throw in the seventh inning of Sunday's game. An MRI taken Monday did not show any issues, and Carroll is set to rejoin the D-backs when they open a three-game series with the Nationals on Tuesday in Washington, D.C. More >

Bo Bichette and Yimi García, Blue Jays

Bichette was out of the starting lineup Monday for the third straight day due to right calf soreness. He planned to continue to test his calf through the day with some baserunning and agility drills to determine whether he would be available off the bench.

García was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday with right elbow ulnar neuritis. More >

Jacob deGrom, Max Scherzer, Josh Jung and Josh Sborz, Rangers

deGrom (right UCL repair surgery) threw off a mound Monday for the first time since his procedure. His bullpen session included about 15 pitches, all fastballs.

Scherzer (herniated disk and right thumb soreness) threw 79 pitches in 4 2/3 innings for Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday. Manager Bruce Bochy said Scherzer's next start will be with the Major League club but did not say when that would be.

Two important pieces for the Rangers began their final stage of recovery Sunday, with Jung (right wrist fracture) and Sborz (right rotator cuff strain) starting rehab assignments with Triple-A Round Rock. More >

William Contreras, Robert Gasser, DL Hall, Abner Uribe and J.B. Bukauskas, Brewers

Contreras cleared concussion protocol after being evaluated following a home-plate collision during Sunday's game. He was available for Monday's game against the Angels, although he was not in the starting lineup.

Gasser (left elbow flexor strain) said he plans to seek another opinion soon and he's "trying to figure out what the best thing is to do" while attempting to work out the strain. Gasser has already visited Dr. Neal ElAttrache and is scheduled for a third opinion with Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas on Tuesday.

Hall (left knee sprain) resumed his rehab assignment on Thursday with Triple-A Nashville, throwing 40 pitches and touching 95 mph. Hall recorded two outs and allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk.

The flamethrowing Uribe -- currently in the Minor Leagues -- will undergo knee surgery for a right lateral meniscus tear, according to general manager Matt Arnold. Arnold indicated that there's a chance Uribe is able to pitch again this season.

Bukauskas began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville on Thursday and reported feeling fine after pitching his one scheduled inning, but he woke up the next morning in significant discomfort and returned to Milwaukee for an MRI scan on Saturday. More >

Turner (left hamstring strain) was activated from the 10-day injured list on Monday. More >

Willson Contreras, Tommy Edman and Steven Matz, Cardinals

Contreras (left forearm fracture) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, DHing for a scheduled three at-bats.

Edman (right wrist surgery) was scheduled to join the Cardinals' Complex League team and Single-A Palm Beach the week of June 17 to get in more live at-bats and defensive reps, manager Oliver Marmol said Sunday.

Matz (lower back strain) threw three scoreless innings in a rehab outing for Double-A Springfield on Sunday. More >

Yu Darvish and Joe Musgrove, Padres

Darvish (left groin strain) will make a Minor League rehab start on Wednesday for High-A Fort Wayne.

Musgrove (right elbow inflammation) said Sunday he planned to pick up a ball and attempt to throw at some point in the next few days. More >

Kyle Bradish, Tyler Wells, Jackson Holliday and Dean Kremer, Orioles

Bradish left his Friday night start against the Phillies after five innings with right elbow discomfort. He was placed on the 15-day IL Saturday with a right UCL sprain. More >

Wells underwent season-ending right UCL revision surgery and internal brace augmentation Monday in Arlington, Texas. The 29-year-old right-hander did not require a second Tommy John surgery.

Holliday, MLB Pipeline's No. 1 overall prospect, was placed on the 7-day injured list Friday at Triple-A Norfolk with right elbow inflammation. The issue is not expected to be serious.

Kremer (right triceps strain) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, throwing 59 pitches and allowing five runs (two earned) in 3 2/3 innings. More >

Ryan Weathers and Edward Cabrera, Marlins

As of Monday, Weathers' strained left index finger is improving and he is asymptomatic as he continues with a no-throw program. The left-hander will be reevaluated early next week.

Cabrera (right shoulder impingement) is scheduled for three innings or 50 pitches on Wednesday with Triple-A Jacksonville to begin a rehab assignment. More >

Michael Wacha and Michael Massey, Royals

Wacha (left foot fracture) will make a rehab appearance in the Arizona Complex League on Monday at the Royals' complex in Surprise, Ariz.

Massey (low back ligament sprain) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday. More >

Justin Verlander, Kyle Tucker and Lance McCullers Jr., Astros

Verlander was scratched from his scheduled Saturday start against the Tigers due to neck discomfort. Manager Joe Espada said on Sunday that Verlander could return as soon as this week’s upcoming series against the White Sox in Chicago.

Tucker (right shin contusion) did not return from the injured list when he was eligible to be activated on Friday. Manager Joe Espada said that a rehab assignment could be in the mix if Tucker "doesn't start running around here [in] the next day or two."

McCullers (right forearm surgery) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Friday in Houston, working in fastballs, changeups, cutters and sinkers. More >

Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Reds

Encarnacion-Strand (ulnar styloid fracture in right arm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday. The first baseman has ligament damage in addition to the fracture, and season-ending surgery to repair the issue is on the table, Reds manager David Bell said on June 11. Encarnacion-Strand could still return to play and have the surgery after the season or avoid surgery altogether. More >

Blake Snell, Alex Cobb, LaMonte Wade Jr. and Kyle Harrison, Giants

Snell (left groin strain) threw a bullpen session Saturday at Oracle Park and is scheduled to throw another Tuesday.

Cobb (left hip surgery) threw a 30-35 pitch bullpen session Friday and was scheduled to throw another one Monday in San Francisco. He likely won't be a candidate to rejoin the Giants' rotation until after the All-Star break.

Wade has resumed taking batting practice on the field and increased his running progression over the weekend, but Giants manager Bob Melvin said it's likely "a stretch" that Wade will be available for Thursday's game at Rickwood Field.

Harrison had been scheduled to start Sunday afternoon's series finale against the Angels, but he was scratched after rolling his ankle while doing his weight room routine on Saturday. He was placed on the injured list with a right ankle sprain. More >

Luis Rengifo, Angels

Rengifo left Sunday’s game early after taking a sharply hit grounder off his left wrist. Manager Ron Washington said X-rays on Rengifo's wrist only revealed a contusion, but Rengifo was not in Monday's lineup. More >

Jordan Wicks, Mike Tauchman, Yency Almonte and Ben Brown, Cubs

Wicks exited his start against the Cardinals on Friday with a right oblique strain and was placed on the 15-day IL Saturday. More >

Tauchman left Monday's game against the Giants with left groin tightness after beating out an infield single in the third inning.

Almonte (right shoulder strain) threw live batting practice on Friday in Arizona. Cubs manager Craig Counsell said on Sunday that Almonte will throw another live BP on Tuesday and then begin a Minor League rehab assignment by the end of the week.

General manager Jed Hoyer said Monday that Brown (stress reaction in neck) saw a local specialist Monday. The Cubs are seeking multiple opinions on Brown's injury before determining his next steps, Hoyer said. More >

Triston Casas and Wilyer Abreu, Red Sox

Casas (torn cartilage in left rib cage) took another step in his rehab when he took 30 dry swings on Saturday. The big milestone for Casas will be when his swings include the impact of the baseball. Casas, who last played on April 20, is targeting a return date of July 2.

Abreu (right ankle sprain) ran the bases at full speed prior to Saturday's game and is nearing a Minor League rehab assignment. He could return during the June 21-23 series in Cincinnati. More >

Jesse Winker, Nationals

Winker exited Saturday’s 4-0 win over the Marlins with right knee discomfort and wasn't in the lineup Sunday. An MRI revealed there is no structural damage. More >

Gavin Williams, Guardians

Williams (right elbow discomfort) tossed 52 pitches over 1 2/3 innings in his fourth rehab start at Triple-A Columbus on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk with four strikeouts. More >

José Caballero, Rays

Caballero, who exited Friday’s game and missed Saturday’s contest against the Braves due to illness, was set to play shortstop and bat ninth on Sunday but was scratched from the lineup with left calf tightness. More >

Kodai Senga, Mets

Senga had another bullpen session on Saturday and threw two simulated innings -- 15 pitches each frame -- without any problems. He is expected to have another session during the middle of this week and then throw live batting practice soon thereafter. More >

Jorge Polanco, Mariners

Polanco (right hamstring strain) reported to High-A Everett on Saturday for a rehab assignment. He'll remain there for a few games then join Triple-A Tacoma when the Rainiers return home on Tuesday, Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said. More >

Henry Davis, Pirates

The Pirates placed Davis on the seven-day concussion injured list on Saturday. Davis was removed from Friday’s game against the Rockies in the seventh inning after he began to exhibit concussion-like symptoms. More >

Kris Bryant, Brenton Doyle and Elias Díaz, Rockies

Bryant's MRI revealed that he has a left oblique strain in addition to his rib contusion.

Doyle was scratched from Saturday's lineup with left patellar tendinitis and remained out Sunday.

Díaz was placed on the 10-day IL on Friday with a left calf strain. More >
