Bae participated in a live batting practice at PNC Park on June 17 and worked defensively every day during the Pirates' last road trip.

C (concussion-like symptoms)

Davis took a foul ball off his mask in the sixth inning of a June 14 win over the Rockies at Coors Field. He exited the contest in the seventh after exhibiting concussion-like symptoms. On June 15, he was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list. (Last updated: June 15)

RHP (right triceps strain)

Stratton exited against St. Louis on June 13 after a 1-0 pitch to Cardinals utility man Brendan Donovan. Before catcher Yasmani Grandal could throw the ball back to the mound, Stratton motioned to the dugout, and left the game with assistant athletic trainer Tony Leo. Williams began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on June 13. He had a cortisone injection in early June and responded well, so the Pirates are proceeding with the plan to get him back into action. (Last updated: June 13)

Bart's thumb injury, which occurred after he caught a pitch awkwardly on May 26, has been diagnosed as a grade-one UCL sprain. It was recommended that he do no gripping activities, and he will continue to refrain from doing so for another week. After that time, he will be reassessed. (Last updated: June 7)

LHP Martín Pérez (left groin strain)

Pérez is currently pain-free with all his rehab activities and playing catch on flat ground with no restrictions. Director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk anticipates the left-hander will throw off a slope soon, likely the weekend of June 7-9. Pérez exited early in his last start on May 26, feeling discomfort after covering first base on a play. (Last updated: June 7)

Borucki threw a 20-pitch bullpen Wednesday, his first time throwing off of a slope. He exited saying he felt good, and that he has bullpens scheduled for Saturday and Tuesday. (Last updated: June 12)

Gonzales threw off a slope for the first time since being sent to the injured list on April 14, throwing a 20-pitch bullpen on Wednesday. Some more bullpens and a rehab assignment will presumably be the next steps, but it's an encouraging sign for a rotation that could use some depth. (Last updated: June 12)

Oviedo started a throwing program at the Pirates' Florida complex the week of May 20 now that he's crossed the six-month mark from his surgery. He is throwing out to 75 feet. (Last updated: June 7)

Rodríguez will transfer his rehab to the Pirates' Florida complex. The team envisions getting clearance for him to start a throwing program later in May. However, it's still not expected that Rodríguez will be able to play competitive games this season. (Last updated: May 17)

Moreta underwent UCL reconstruction surgery in March, confirming fears that he will not pitch in 2024. The team anticipates a full recovery in approximately 14-16 months, with the hope that it might be on the shorter side since he is a reliever.
