CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Guardians today announced the composition of the 2025 Opening Day roster:
Placed RHP Shane Bieber (right elbow ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction), RHP Slade Cecconi (left oblique strain), LHP John Means (left elbow UCL revision/reconstruction), LHP Erik Sabrowski (left elbow inflammation) and RHP Trevor Stephan (right elbow ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction) on the 15-day Injured List, retroactive to March 24.
Recalled OF Johnathan Rodríguez from AAA Columbus.
Reassigned LHP Kolby Allard, LHP Parker Mushinski, RHP Vince Velasquez, C Dom Nuñez and INF Will Wilson to Minor League camp.
The 26-player roster consists of 10 players acquired via the MLB Draft, seven through trades and nine free agents (3 amateur, 6 Major/Minor). The 40-man roster is at 40.
