Status: Threw his first live batting practice since the injury on April 28 and called it "nasty" and said that he "felt great." Expected return: Week of May 5
Status: Underwent precautionary MRI after experiencing soreness, which revealed a mild strain. Suffered the injury when rounding first base then retreating back on a single off the Green Monster at Fenway Park on April 24. Opted for an IL stint now to calm things down, especially given that he dealt with core surgery and an oblique injury that significantly impacted his 2023 season. (Last updated: April 29) More »

Injury: Right elbow flexor strain

Status: Underwent MRI that revealed Grade 1 severity. Was shut down from throwing for two weeks at outset and will be re-examined after. (Last updated: April 26). More »
RF Victor Robles
Injury: Left shoulder dislocation
IL date: April 7 (10-day IL, transferred to 60-day IL on April 23)
Expected return: Early July at earliest
Status: Underwent X-ray two weeks post-injury that revealed the fracture is healing, which means that he's on track to avoid surgery. Initial MRI exam revealed a small fracture in the humeral head of the shoulder, which will necessitate a six-week recovery to heal, then another six weeks of rehab. (Last updated: April 25)
RHP Matt Brash
Injury: Tommy John surgery
IL date: March 27 (15-day IL, retroactive to March 24)
Expected return: Early May
Status: Will transition to more "pivot" and mid-innings outings while shortening length of time between each from three to four days, after beginning rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on April 13. (Last updated: April 25)
